Here is some Snake Oil...

Kinja'd!!!

Porsche didn't have any concepts... just regular models. This is what their display looked like... not that exciting compared to past years.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Jaguar was a bit more interesting...

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Jaguar calls this 'Project 7', but I call it "Spot"...

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

And here's a girl with funny hair...

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

And here we see Land Rover displaying their stuff with fancy bicycles... something I estimate about 0.00001% LR owners would have.

Kinja'd!!!

Range Rover Evoque *inspired* by Britain? It sounds like they're trying to soften us up to the idea that they're gonna build this thing in China sooner or later. Note that other Land Rovers were not listed as being "inspired" in the same way.

Kinja'd!!!

And here we Lincoln.. with the same stupid expanding and contracting snowflake they had last year. Though this year's display is a big improvement. Last year's display was smaller, more pathetic in feel and shoved off into a corner in the same building as Ford.

Kinja'd!!!

The new MKX, while not super exciting, looks like a solid improvement over the previous model.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

And here we have the Navigator that was updated last year.

Kinja'd!!!

This vehicle is a mix of some nice things and some cheap looking things... for example... these unhidden windshield wipers look worse than what you get on a Hyundai.

Kinja'd!!!

Kia had a pretty big display... a big sea of mostly white vehicles.

Kinja'd!!!

Aside from all the usual stuff, they had an electric version of the Soul:

Kinja'd!!!

As you can see here, someone broke the right steering column stalk:

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Huge glove box...

Kinja'd!!!

An up-close of the broken stalk...

I'm sorry but $37k for an electric Soul?

Not just any Soul... one with a broken stalk!

I have a feeling the new Chevy Bolt will kick this thing's ass in the lower end EV market.

But the Bolt is still at least 18 months away.

This. This is why we can't have nice things.

Still, $37K??? Between this and the K900 super-robot-dog, I'm thinking Kia values it's cars a bit optimistically.

the broken stalk got me. Their PR or whomever set it up must have been having a fit. Though what a great souvenir?!
